Address, house and gate plaques are cut from 3/4 inch solid PVC, which does not rot or rust, with deep V-groove routed lettering finished by hand. Modern signs have a face about 3/4 inch deep, routed through, on a 1/4 inch aluminum backer that runs past each end. Round historic signs have an aluminum face with the lettering cut through to a 1 inch thick white PVC backer; shaped historic signs are deep-routed aluminum 1 inch thick. Beach house signs are cut and painted by hand.

Face colors include black, anodized bronze, classic navy, dark grey, ivory coast, light grey, parchment, rich red, vintage light blue and green, white and key west lime. Lettering comes in gold, silver, white, black and more. Modern signs come in two colors: a black or brushed aluminum face, on a black or brushed aluminum backer.
