About Address Plaques
Every plaque is drawn for its house: the number, the street, the shape and the finish. A deep V-groove route throws a shadow line into each letter, so the number reads from the street in flat light and at an angle.
These are built one at a time, routed, sanded and finished by hand, which takes far longer than a stamped or printed plaque. That is the difference you see in the close-ups.
