The pennant is a historic sports symbol hosted on stadiums. It forms an important part of our proud heritage. We CNC route our modern version of the pennant, 1/2″ deep into 1″ thick high density urethane. This distinctively recognizable sports fan symbol is available in a wide variety of colors to match your favorite team. You can customize it with a number and name field of your choice.
The history of the pennant began in 1895 in Australian rules football. In Major League Baseball, a pennant has two meanings. First, it refers to a flag flown by the National or American League champion. Second, it refers to the winner of a championship. The winners earn the right to play in MLB’s title round, the World Series. Since 1969, the pennants are determined by the National and American League Championship Series playoffs, analogous to the NBA, NHL and NFL Championship Games.
