Etched and color-filled plates have the text etched into the metal and filled with color, so the lettering lasts and has a slight depth; it is the classic choice for office doors, suites and equipment tags, in stainless steel, anodized aluminum, brass, copper or nickel silver. Screen printed plates have the text printed in one ink on satin aluminum, brass or stainless steel, and cost less, especially in quantity. Full-color printed plates are printed in unlimited colors on white aluminum or brass, for logos, photos and color-coded signs.

Each plate is priced by its area and the number of identical plates you order: the more you order, the lower the price of each one. The price includes one color fill or ink (unlimited colors on full-color plates), screw holes or an adhesive back, your corner shape and a satin finish. Shipping is one line, set by the order total. For example, a 10 × 3 inch etched stainless steel door nameplate is $160.00 plus $26.99 shipping, or $50.00 each for 100.

Etched plates come in .029, .050 and .062 inch 304 stainless steel, .029 and .050 inch marine 316 or 430 stainless, .025, .050 and .125 inch anodized aluminum, .020 and .040 inch brass, .020 inch copper and .018 and .040 inch nickel silver. Screen printed plates come in .025 and .040 inch aluminum, .020 and .040 inch brass, .020 inch copper, .018 and .040 inch nickel silver, and .029 to .062 inch 304, 316 or 430 stainless steel. Yes, in etched stainless steel, etched anodized aluminum, screen printed stainless steel or full-color outdoor aluminum. Brass, copper, nickel silver, screen printed aluminum and brass, and the thinner full-color plates are for indoor use, so the designer turns them off when you choose Outdoors.

Choose an adhesive back that peels and sticks to a door or smooth wall, or two or four 3/16 inch screw holes. Screws are not included, so you can use the right ones for your wall or door. Corners can be square, rounded, clipped or inverted at no charge.

Yes, you can add your logo at no charge. On etched and screen printed plates it is made in the same color as the text; on full-color plates it prints in full color. Each design is one order line with one name, so for several people, approve one design per name; identical plates in one design get the quantity price.

After you approve the artwork proof, plan on about 16 business days before it ships, then 3 to 5 business days by ground. The designer shows the time before you order.

You approve the design here, with the size, metal, colors, corners, mounting and every line of text. Then you get one artwork proof to check spelling and layout, and production starts once you approve the proof.

Yes. Identical plates cost less each as the quantity grows. At 10 × 3 in, etched stainless steel, .029 in: 1 plate $160.00; 10 plates $1,430.00 ($143.00 each), before shipping. The designer prices any quantity from 1 to 500.
