Talk it through with Vector, Brand 9's AI design agent, or choose the options yourself: six concepts, your name set in real type, never drawn by AI, and every concept reviewed for spacing, kerning, alignment and sign production. How the Logo Designer works

    1. Pick a square or a horizontal logo. Then tell Vector about the business in your own words, or choose the name, style, colors and mark type yourself.
    2. Start from your industry if you like: real estate, trades, restaurants, churches, medical, fitness, salons, retail, construction, law and finance.
    3. Vector writes six briefs. An AI model draws only the symbols; the name is set in real fonts.
    4. Apply the one you like and adjust the font, colors, lockup and spacing. Every version is kept.
    5. The Logo Check measures strokes, gaps, the one-color version, contrast, node count and letter height for viewing distance.
    6. See it on an A-frame, a yard sign, a storefront panel and a vehicle door. Every preview is watermarked.
    7. Once the files are paid for, Vector builds your Brand Pack on our server: the logo files, a brand presentation and a do and do not guide, emailed to you and kept in your account. Then put it on a real sign.

What is AI here, and what is not

Vector is an AI. It writes the briefs and the reasons, and an AI image model (Recraft) draws the symbol. Your business name is never drawn by AI: it is typeset from free Google Fonts under open-source licenses, so it is always spelled right. The mockups are drawings, not photos. The Brand Pack is built after payment from your finished logo: its pages come from your fonts, colors and Logo Check numbers, not from an image model.

    Ownership

The files are yours to use on signs, print and online once paid for. AI-generated parts of a logo may not be protectable by copyright on their own, and nothing in the Logo Designer is a trademark clearance. Talk to a trademark attorney before you register a mark.

    FAQ

    Logo Designer questions, answered

How much does a logo cost with the Brand 9 Logo Designer?
Exploring is free, including every concept and every mockup, shown as watermarked previews. Production Logo Files are $35 and the Sign-Ready Brand Kit is $79, or $44 if you already bought that logo's files. Prices are one-time, with no subscriptions, and $35 is credited toward a Brand 9 sign order of $99 or more within 90 days.
What files come with the logo?
Once paid, Vector sends a Brand Pack: a brand presentation PDF that shows the logo on business cards, a storefront, an A-frame, a van, a polo and a website; a do and do not usage guide; SVG, PDF, PNG and JPG files in full-color, one-color, black, white and reversed versions; horizontal, stacked and icon lockups; favicon and social sizes; the colors and fonts; and a cut-ready one-color SVG. The $79 Sign-Ready Brand Kit adds brand guidelines, a business card, letterhead and email signature, a social kit and a sign spec sheet.
    Who designs the logo?
Vector, Brand 9's AI design agent. Vector writes six briefs in the directions you pick, an AI image model draws only the symbol, and Vector reviews every concept for spacing, kerning, alignment and sign production. You make the final choices in the editor. No person redraws the logo.
Is my business name drawn by AI?
No. The name is typeset in real fonts from Google Fonts under open-source licenses, exactly as you type it, so it is always spelled right. Only the symbol is drawn by an AI model.
Will the logo work on a sign?
The Logo Check measures it at 12, 24, 48 and 96 inches wide: strokes and gaps against 1/8 in for cut vinyl and routing, the one-color version, contrast against WCAG 4.5:1, node count, and letter height for viewing distance, about 1 inch per 10 feet. Then you can see it on an A-frame, a yard sign, a storefront panel and a vehicle door.
    Do I own the logo?
The files are yours to use on signs, print and online once paid for. AI-generated parts of a logo may not be protectable by copyright on their own, and the Logo Designer is not a trademark clearance, so talk to a trademark attorney before you register a mark.
